Can Tuffits be outside during a freeze or will they crack? – We have had many customers enjoy their Tuffits in cold climates with no cracking or breakage.
Will the color fade? – No the pigment is mixed into the cement, so the color goes all the way through each pillow.
Are they exactly the same – No Tuffit is exactly the same. As a handcrafted product you may see subtle color and surface variations.
What happens if they get dirty or stained can I wash them?
Yes, you may scrub with soap and water for basic cleaning. For tough stains use Muriatic Acid in a solution of 30 parts water to one part acid. Add acid to water, not the other way around. Brush, then rinse. Wear rubber gloves.
Can they really be stepped on or are they more for decoration? The concrete recipe for making Tuffits was created by a concrete company that performed rigorous stress tests on them to ensure their durability for standing or stepping repeatedly.
Can I mix and match colors and styles other than what I see on the style sheet?
No, each Tuffit is made in a specific color mold for that style and we do not have the flexibility to interchange colors & styles.
